This picture by Stil in Berlin made me inhale a little sharply when it first popped in my Reader. Her hair is lovely. And that dress is simply stunning. Apparently it was purchased for 5 Franken (which is around 4 Euros they say) at a Zürich fleamarket...dang. Jealousy abounds.

On another note, I am still alive, simply immersed in dissertation writing, exam prepping, life prepping. Two months till the very end of my law degree. It's all a bit scary and I haven't had much time or desire to blog. No word on when the winds will change, but if you don't mind bearing with me, I don't mind.

my eyes are tired

I'm just pooped. This past month has been filled with deadlines, sore throats, stuffy noses, runny noses and more due dates. and exam period hasn't even started! anyway, this is just to say -- i haven't been around much, and may not be for a little while, but i hope to come back to this little space and start saying things again so it ain't just photos I fancy. Deal? Deal.

jaunting down the road

I was in New York last weekend to visit friends. I ate loads, saw Harry Potter's dinky and got lost in Brooklyn. 'Twas fun. Except for the getting lost which was ridiculously frustrating. Going back to London on Saturday...maybe then, I'll be a good little blogger once more.

Tra-la-la...

Flying home today. By sun down, I'll be on the other side of the Atlantic.

Like always, I have a paper due on friday about something or other, but I much prefer to look at pretty pictures and imagine a dreamland far away from textbooks and responsibility. Where sleep is always restful, play is mandatory and there is a chocolate river...

Time, time ticking on me

I'm back. Sort of. My trip involved black & tears but also seeing old friends and laughing over old memories. Kind of makes you realize how silly some neurosis can be...like panicking over keeping up a little blog. Anyway, I will return in true form soon, I promise.

I'm off to Toronto for a week for a family thing. This blog will lie dormant for a wee bit. And that's that.

Time Stands Still

Well, apparently being home means being a neglectful blogger. Alas, woe is me and all that. I've been spending most my time away from the internet; being lazy, reading, sunning and doing nothing at all really. Living in London, I kind of missed most of summer, and am soaking up the last of it now. It's been a happy reprieve, but I've missed the warmth of my mac on my lap which may equal more blog-attentiveness.

Unless the sun beckons, of course.
